Tennis in Schools Programme

The Tennis In Schools Programme (TISP) is a grassroots initiative intended to promote the sport of tennis and encourage lifelong participation. It also serves as a stepping stone for many school-age children to take their game to the next level.

TISP provides tennis training to approximately 5,000 primary and junior high school children around Ghana. Our accredited coaches and staff travel to individual schools weekly to implement well-structured tennis programmes for 8-10 weeks per term. Time slots and playground availabilities are coordinated through the Ghana Education Service (GES) representative in each locality.

Participation in TISP often inspires the children to further develop their skills at local clubs and tennis venues. Our aim is to introduce them to the sport of tennis and encourage them to build their skill set. The programme educates the children and their parents about the health and social benefits of sports and the opportunities available through tennis. We are proud to work closely with our partners from GES and the Ghana Tennis Federation to meet these shared goals!
