Welcome to PM Sports Foundation

Bringing tennis and opportunity to 5,000 children in Ghana

Since our inception in 2017, we have been dedicated to transforming young lives through sports and development programs that foster inclusivity, build critical life skills and create pathways for future opportunities.

We believe that tennis should be accessible to everyone and that the power of sport can build confidence and pave the way for a child’s future success.

Together with our partners, Ghana Tennis Federation and Ghana Education Service, we are changing lives.

Our Initiatives

Our tested initiatives are designed to provide exceptional opportunities to every child in our programmes. From the grassroots Tennis In Schools Programme through to assistance with higher education, (e.g. college sponsorship applications and support, work placement opportunities), PM Sports Foundation is there to support our participants at every level. Tennis is the vehicle through which we mentor these children to do great things!

This is our story…

PM Sports Foundation was established by Peter Mensah in 2017 to introduce tennis to school children in disadvantaged communities. Growing up in Ghana, Peter joined his local tennis club as a ball boy and went on to represent Ghana in international competitions. Now an accomplished tennis coach, he gives back by promoting sports and social impact programmes around Ghana. His goal is to provide life-long opportunities through the power of tennis.

How can you help?

100% of our funding goes directly to running our programmes and covers costs such as equipment, transportation, workshops, events and mentoring, as well as assisting children with educational needs and supplies. To date, PM Sports Foundation has been funded by generous private donors, but in order to keep these programmes running, more help is needed.

“Tennis in Schools Programme by PM Sports has had a massive impact and opened up sporting opportunities for thousands of children. Participants from the most basic schools who wouldn’t have had such opportunity to access the game of tennis are now playing in huge numbers throughout Ghana, including the National Sports Stadium”
